Website Updates
Submitted by BlackJaw on Thu, 10/18/2007 - 10:26.I've gone ahead and set out a new theme. I didn't make it (there is a link in the footer to the guys that did.) It's a nifty theme none the less, and it does a number of things I like. It also comes in blue, which I like on PseudoLife.
A few site updates
Submitted by BlackJaw on Wed, 04/25/2007 - 00:36.Well I managed to get some things working on this drupal setup that I'm happy about. I managed to get Clean Urls to work (no more ?Q=node bull) then got an auto-pathing module working (no more /node/271) so now the url for content matches what it is. (http://www.pseudolife.com/science-fun)
On a similar note to my last blog: it would seem that this website is top ranked on google searches for "eviscerated torsos". Yes, that does make me happy. (and yes you need to put eviscerated torso in quotes otherwise I'm like 2nd behind Amazon.)
Strange Log
Submitted by BlackJaw on Thu, 02/22/2007 - 13:29.I turned the full logging system for this website on a few days back, just so I could see what they were like and how few people come looking around here. Among the random data was an odd thing:
Some one visiting here from google... Spanish Google with an English search phrase of "Little Know Facts About Computer."
We are apparently the only listing under that on Google. odd.
New PseudoLife Theme
Submitted by BlackJaw on Mon, 01/29/2007 - 22:59.Ok, I think I got the themes and templates working correctly now. It's a pain in the but, but it works now. Well, there is still the missing Slogan line on IE (it's hidden behind the logo graphic, but the Z-Index code won't seem to get it to move where it belongs. Heck, it shouldn't be behind the logo to start with.)
Of course this new template I based it off has troubles too. I would be much happier with it if the dang navigation bar was on the left instead of the right.
Pseudolife Returns!

Well I finally finished toying around with the new website. At least that’s what I thought. I hate how no two browsers manage to render
the same page the same way. I spent
hours getting this interface looking the way I wanted, I come home and neither
firefox or IE at home renders it the way it was at work. Son. Of. A. Bitch.
I may have to rebuild the whole interface from scratch,
which would be such a colossal pain in the ass.
