Desk Wars 3: Fishmonger

Tom’s next volley in the war is widely held as the most creative. Kip had locked his desk, falsely bealiving that Tom had no keys. Tom secretly removes the contents of Kip’s desk and replaces it with live goldfish complete in a small plastic lined partial aquarium. As red hearing Tom then left a small pile of gravel (the kind used in fish tanks) on Kip’s desk.
This tactic worked out perfectly. Kip, disposing of the pile of gravel at the work the next day, figured Tom’s revenge was just the rocks. Hours latter, while interviewing a candidate to work at the Theater (“Do you have a pulse? Great, your hired!”) Kip opens his desk drawer to get bit of paperwork, and discovers goldfish. The candidate being hired, hearing an odd sloshing noise and seeing a strange lingering look on Kip’s face, leans over across the desk and looks down into the drawer. “Fish?”
The goldfish were later relocated to a proper fish tank and spent much time in the break room of the theater.
